Why B is tempting: It sounds connected to the issue. But the argument does not need to prove that park-budget supporters visit gardens more often. The problem is already clear: it drew a broad conclusion from a potentially biased sample. Answer A states that defect directly.

This is the habit to build: do not choose an answer because it sounds intelligent or relevant. Choose the one that identifies the exact inferential step that failed.

Correlation treated as causation

> Students who use flashcards more often earn higher scores. Therefore, flashcards cause higher scores.

The evidence shows association, not cause. Stronger students may be more likely to use flashcards, or another factor may explain both.

Circular reasoning

“Transparent” changes meaning: open and understandable becomes physically see-through.
