The camera's height secretly decides who has the power

Shoot the same person from different heights and the audience feels something completely different. Eye level (camera at eye height) = equal, objective, relatable; low angle (shooting up from below) = tall, imposing, oppressive; high angle (shooting down from above) = small, fragile, scrutinized.

🔆Think of a child looking up at an adult — a low angle puts the audience in the child's position, making the person on screen look towering.
