Officers Only Care About Four Things

Immigration is not a speaking test. Officers ask hundreds of people a day, and the questions circle four things: purpose (why you're here), duration (how long), accommodation (where you're staying), and whether it's your first visit. Understand these four types and you understand 90% of the conversation.

🔊 The officer asks: what are you here for?
🔊 Your answer: short, true, no extras
💡Golden rule: shorter is safer. "Tourism." — one word is enough; volunteering extra details invites extra questions.
