英语动词搭配大全：make a decision 还是 do a decision？
make / do / take / have 到底配什么——动词配错，整句就不是英语。
✗ do a decision
We need to make a decision by Friday.

✗ do a mistake
Everyone makes mistakes when learning a language.

✗ get progress
You're making real progress — keep going.
你进步很明显——继续保持。

💡 三餐前不加冠词：have breakfast / lunch / dinner。

Put on a jacket, or you'll catch a cold.
穿上外套，不然要着凉了。
💡 catch 是「染上」的动作，have 是「感冒中」的状态。
✗ chase the bus
Run — we can still catch the last bus!
跑起来——还能赶上末班车！
✗ lose the bus
I overslept and missed the bus.
我睡过头，错过了公交。
✗ put attention
Pay attention to the pronunciation, not just the spelling.
多注意发音，别只盯着拼写。
I'll pay the bill this time — you got it last time.
这次我来付——上次是你请的。
She's saving money for a trip to Japan.
她在攒钱去日本旅行。
✗ cost time on
I spend too much time on my phone.
我在手机上花的时间太多了。
💡 人 spend 时间；物 cost 钱——主语方向相反。
✗ say the truth
To tell the truth, I didn't enjoy the film.
说实话，这片子我没看进去。
Could you give me a hand with these boxes?
能搭把手帮我搬这些箱子吗？
✗ hold a promise
A good friend keeps their promises.
好朋友说到做到。
