Service: we provide online, gamified learning content. Some is free; some requires a PurrLearn Plus subscription. Content is for educational reference, provided "as is"; we don't guarantee it is error-free or fit for any specific purpose.
Account: you are responsible for activity under your account. Keep your password safe; don't share or resell accounts.
Subscriptions & billing: all prices are quoted and displayed at checkout, in USD unless a plan is settled in another currency, in which case the currency and amount are shown explicitly at checkout. Monthly plans bill every 31 days and annual plans every 366 days; both auto-renew and are charged by our payment provider at the start of each period until you cancel. After cancelling you keep access for the remainder of the current period and are not charged again. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and never renews. We do not currently offer a free trial. Any applicable taxes are calculated by the payment provider based on your location and shown at checkout. The price shown at checkout when you order applies; we may change future prices, but not for periods you have already paid for.
Acceptable use: don't abuse, scrape, or attack the service (including automated bulk extraction of content, circumventing paywalls, or interfering with normal operation of the servers), don't share, lend or resell accounts, and don't republish or redistribute course content commercially without permission.
Consequences of breach: if you breach these terms we may, depending on severity, issue a warning and ask you to correct the behaviour, restrict certain features, suspend your account, or — for serious or repeated breaches — terminate your account without refund. Where a breach appears unlawful we may report it to the relevant authorities. Accounts terminated for breach are not compensated for unused subscription time or lifetime access.
Refunds: digital content is treated as delivered once access is unlocked. The conditions, time limits and procedure for requesting a refund are set out in our Refund Policy (https://purrlearn.com/legal/refunds). Except as stated in that policy, fees already paid are non-refundable.
Disclaimer: the service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Courses and practice questions are for study reference only and are not a promise or guarantee of any exam score, admission outcome, career result, nor legal, medical or financial advice. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
Limitation of liability: to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (including loss of revenue, data or opportunity) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. In any event our total aggregate liability under these terms will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Governing law and jurisdiction: these terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably; failing that, either party may bring the dispute before the competent People's Court at the location of the service provider.
Changes: we may update these terms; significant changes will be noted in-app.
